What we collect
Lewis.io is a real-estate search site operated by Michael Lewis, a licensed real-estate salesperson affiliated with Crown Homes. We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us. When you submit a contact, tour-request, seller, or buyer-program form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any property address or message you include.
- Saved-home activity. When you save homes or set search preferences, we keep a record of those listings and preferences so we can show them back to you and follow up on properties you care about.
- Usage data. Like most websites, we collect basic analytics — pages viewed, searches run, device and browser type — to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiries, schedule tours, send property alerts and market updates you request, and provide real-estate services. Lead information you submit is stored in our team's customer-relationship-management (CRM) system so an agent can follow up with you.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and serve you: our CRM provider (which stores lead and contact records on our behalf), our hosting provider, and analytics tools. Listing data shown on this site comes from Bright MLS under IDX display rules; your personal information is not sent to the MLS.
AI processing
When you type a search query, it may be processed by a third-party AI provider to interpret what you are looking for (for example, turning "3 beds under 400k in Fishtown" into structured search filters). Search queries sent for interpretation are not linked to your name or contact information.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and your browser's local storage for essential site functions — including remembering the homes you save and your display preferences. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings, though saved homes stored locally will be removed.
Retention
We keep contact and lead records for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and licensing obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying "stop" or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
