Fair Housing Notice
Our commitment
Lewis.io and Michael Lewis, a licensed real-estate salesperson affiliated with Crown Homes, are committed to compliance with the federal Fair Housing Act and with the fair-housing laws of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Florida. Housing discrimination is illegal, and it has no place in any transaction we are part of.
Equal professional service
We provide equal professional service to every client and customer, without regard to:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
- National origin
- Familial status (families with children under 18)
- Disability
State and local laws in the areas we serve may protect additional classes, such as age, marital status, ancestry, source of income, and use of a guide or support animal. We honor all applicable protections. This commitment applies to every service we offer — property search, showings, advertising, offers and negotiation, and referrals to lenders and other professionals.
What this means in practice
- We show and advertise properties without steering buyers toward or away from any neighborhood based on a protected class.
- We present all listings that meet a client's stated criteria and let the client decide what to see.
- We never make statements or publish advertising that indicates a preference or limitation based on a protected class.
- Down-payment and grant-program information on this site is offered to all visitors on the same terms.
If you believe your rights were violated
If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination — by anyone, in any transaction — you have the right to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). You can learn about the process and file online at hud.gov/fairhousing, or call HUD's Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity at 1-800-669-9777. Complaints may also be filed with the human-relations or civil-rights commission in your state.
Equal Housing Opportunity
We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin.
